This is a native specimen evergreen tree. It is fast growing, hardy, and may grow to 50 feet tall. It's foliage is green, with long, soft needles, providing semi-privacy as it matures (less dense than Spruces). It became famous when it was painted by the Group of Seven. Many original barns in Ontario were built using White Pine.
